Easter blessings to you all!
In John, Chapter 11, we read about Jesus raising Lazarus to life, and we can rejoice in the promises Jesus makes both for today and for eternity in verses 25 and 26. Jesus speaks boldly to Martha about who He really is: “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
Praise God that relationship with the living Christ is ours today, and that resurrection power is already at work in our lives, but only if we believe in Him.
And even in death, He promises that we still live, for He IS the resurrection and the life. Jesus doesn’t just provide resurrection life, He IS resurrection life, and believing in Him is the only guaranteed access to eternal life there is, and it’s also how we experience His power right now.
He unleashed power over death for Lazarus that day, and He is ready to defeat death for you, too, AND revolutionize every single moment of your future from now on! Don’t want to miss out on that? Then it’s necessary to answer the question Jesus asked Martha: “Do you believe this?”
